It’s Monday and Halloween is approaching soon, so off course we need a post to mark this spooky “holiday”. Today’s recipe is for chocolate chip cookies (with a decorative twist off course). These cookies are one of the best recipes I own (got it from Kat) and we both have been making these for our friends and family for years, so naturally we had to share it with you guys.
Chocolate Chip Cookies:
- 8,8 ounces butter
(room temped)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 ts baking powder
- 1 ½ vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 ts salt
- 7 ounces chocolate
morsels (or nuts, white chocolate, m´ms, fudge)
In a large bowl mix
the butter and the sugar (bilde)
Pour in the eggs, then add the dry
Last add the chocolate
morsels / chopped chocolate (bilde)
cookie dough ----- yumyum
Use a spoon and place your cookies on a
baking sheet
Put them in the owen and bake for approx
10-12 minutes at 356 F (i love mine a Little doughy, so i only bake for 10 mins)
Here is what you will need for the scary
part:
Red frosting
Chopped almonds
And mini marshmallows (I could not find
any, so i had to improvise)
Start by piping a circle on the cookie
Place the ”marshmallows” on the cookie
Pipe a circle on the other cookie
Place the cookies on top of each other, place the almonds to get the ”fang-effect”
A there you have your scary cookie with a vampire
mouth!
If you are not into this scary twist,
enjoy in a more traditional way:
Happy Halloween!!
