Hello everyone!

Summer is fast approaching (fingers crossed) and feeling inspired by the sunshine and flowers that have started making their reappearance this week, I decided to make strawberry cake pops. 

Cake pops are super simple to make (If you havent done them before you find more detailed instructions here):

Mix cake and frosting, and form balls. Dip them in chocolate. 

I put Rolos in mine and shaped them like strawberries. 

Then I dipped them in white chocolate dyed red. After they had dried, i drew the small seeds on with a black food color marker and used green chocolate for the leaves. 

I really enjoyed the little surprise Rolo inside, feel like it gave them that special extra.

The only thing is, now I really cant wait for summer and the real thing.
