Hope you all had a great start of the week. I ended up going to a craft store on Saturday, and it was amazing. I love craft stores, they give me the light headed, warm fuzzy feeling one might get after a massive shopping spree. And this did indeed turn in to a massive shopping spree. Not exactly a cheap high, but definitely a good one. Hope you enjoy the coming DIY’s cause I thoroughly enjoyed a weekend of making them.
Today ill show you how to make a cool twist on the type of bracelets that have been flourishing on DIY blogs for the last month.
You will be needing: leather cord, waxed thread, gold ball chain, and a cool bead for the lock, mine is a skull!
Instructions after the jump...
And these are the steps:
Great alone, great to stack!
Thank you for the sweet comment! I'm def going to try this out!

This is a good idea! I want to make one except I'll probably do it with something more feminine as a lock.

After you wrap the end before you put on the skull how do you secure it?
ReplyDeleteSo, you take the leather string trough the scull bead, and then back to the bracelet part, then you twist the waxed string around it to secure. Cut of the excess pieces, and there you go ;)
