Although this might be an obvious statement, blogger(.com) does not agree.
After the word verification was activated, commenting on even the most amazing blog has turned in to quite the pain in the ass. To be honest, I always have the hardest time figuring out the letters, and how frustrating is that??
Anyway, I had the word verification till yesterday ONLY because I had no idea on how to remove it, and I guess too lazy to figure it out (Opsi).
But the lovely lady over at Creative Mind wrote me a msg saying I should remove it. I had been thinking about it forever, but this got me kick started, haha!
SOOOO, if there are more people out there that hate it (and I am sure it must be because it is totally annoying) that wants to remove it (and why would you not??)
This is a quick how too:
I removed mine a few months ago because they drive me crazy!!! I've gotten some phrases in ARABIC before. How am I supposed to know what it says? lol
ReplyDeleteThe easiest and clearest tutorial i have seen around! Amazing, thank you for the help :) (although i will mantain my word verification just in case haha, it makes me feel more secure!)

Yay! Jeg synes også det er irriterende! Må teste om jeg får det til på min Wordpress blogg :s
ReplyDeleteOMG! I too, have become tired of being mistaken for a robot. Is it my shiny metallic jewelry? I'll never know. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe new word recognition program is really awful. After typing in the two words (which are sometimes impossible to read and I have to guess), and then being told I typed the words in incorrectly, and then repeating this three or four times, I usually give up and don't leave a comment. So if you have a blog and wonder why comments are down - this may be why!
ReplyDeleteYES! I've wanted to ask people to remove it too! The letters strings are getting longer and harder to read. Thanks you for posting this!!
ReplyDeleteI hate word verification. Sometimes I wont comment if it pops up.
ReplyDeleteThank you for removing!! I seriously hate it!!
