Jade on a String

I hope you havent been holding your breath, but tata!! Here I am back from a refreshing trip to the mountains with a new DIY that is totally hold you breath worthy (if I may say so myself... and I may :).

I had totally forgotten how much fun you could have on the After-ski and I havent had a Jagerbomb since I was tricked to do one my first week in Canada.! Most of the kids at the afterski were still in diapers when "ice cube" was the thing (and come to think of it.... so was I.... minor details...), but we had them play You can do it and had a dace off!! (then the oldies aka us, went home and made a civilized dinner while the young'uns partied the night away.. hahah)

Over to the the DIY:

This is totally one of those 5min DIYs that look like a million! I love it, alone or stacked!

Hello there awkward smile picture!

You will need: lobster clasp, jump rings, beads (I love these jade-ish once), thin chain and some metal wire.

You want to cut two equally long pieces of chain, measure them to get your desired length.

I actually used the little jewelry making wire that have a circle at the end (what are these things called anyway??) UPDATE: "eyepins", but if you don’t have that, just use normal wire and shape it to a circle with pliers and attach to a piece of chain.

Add your beads, I used 7 for the green for both of mine. It depends on the width of your beads and how long you want it.

Attach the end of the wire to your second piece of chain with pliers. Try to make it as close to the beads as possible. Snipp of whats left of whire if there is more.

Fasten the clasp with a jump ring, on both ends of the chain.

tata, ready to wear!

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. I choose the supplies for this post myself at Perlehuset without having to pay for it. All opinions are my own. I would never feature projects that I didn’t love, created and wore myself- Hekk, I would never feature anything that I don’t love 100%.
