DIY Zipper Necklace

This post is all about sewing, and know even the mere mentioning of the word would give some of my friends a minor heart attack. It's actually really easy once you have done it a few times.
I mean, threading the needle might be hard at times, but once you have that covered, it's basically just taking the needle back and forth through what ever you want stitched together right?

For this statement necklace all you need is 100cm of zipper, some fabric glue, a snap button (or any other type of lock that you can stich on) and a big'ol rhinestone.

Oh and i totally forgot, Button it!!! Add a lock,  what ever one floats your boat will do.

or what about doing it with a bright colored zipper?

This one is from Flora's amazing Etsy store Reborn Jewelry, check it out for other great peices here.
Looking great super star!! :)
