Sister Sunday

Filled crescent rolls

I guess this is my second post about something that is easy to make and have in your freezer for when you're in a rush. Whole wheat filled crescent rolls; healthy, easy, and fast (from the freezer, the making takes some time, because of the yeast). Fill it with whatever you like, I did swiss cheese and ham this time, but I bet it would be delicious with some feta, spinach, and sun dried tomatoes.

What you need:
Bread dough, preferably whole wheat.
Filling:
Cheese
Ham
Sesame Seeds

Roll your dough into a circle and cut it into six equal pieces.
Put ham and cheese (or whatever filling you want) on.
Wet your finger and slide it over the outer edge before you trap the filling inside the dough.
Roll up.

Place on a cookie sheet and let them rise for 45 min.
Brush with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake until golden in a 375 F oven.
Enjoy!
