DIY GoldChain Necklace

Today I have had one of those; REALLY? did I really just throw my tooth brush in the toilet because iv had a cold for so long that its the only movement that feels natural days! Yes, I scooped it out of there before I flushed (Yes, first I considered the likelihood of it flushing down if I tried.....). Yes, my nose is red as rudolph.. which is great for the seasonal and festive feel and all.... but no thanks...! And if anyone is wondering YES I tossed the toothbrush!

Now over to something a little more interesting, DIY time!

Oh actually, before that, did you guys have an amazing thanksgiving? Its my fav NorthAmerican holiday (including black friday clearly) and I am pissed yearly that we dont have it here in Norway.

You will need: 4 big jump rings, 4 metall rope ends (with hole to fasten with jump rings), super glue, think chain, big'ish jewelry clasp and some rope in a color you love. I love blue and gold together, so I found this great blue silk rope.

Cut two equally long peices of rope ( I used...... but it depends how long you want your necklace) and glue one "metall rope end" to each of the ends of the rope. ( hahahaha)

Mine took some time to dry, but it was all worth it in the end.

Attach the rope to the chain with a jumping.

on both sides thank you....

Add jump rings to the opposite side as well, we will use those to fasten the clasp.

Have an amazing weekend!

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. I choose the supplies for this post myself at Perlehuset without having to pay for it. All opinions are my own. I would never feature projects that I didn’t love, created and wore myself- Hekk, I would never feature anything that I don’t love 100%.
