Sister Sunday

Lemon Sorbet

Summer is fast approaching, and with that comes my cravings for something fresh, cold, and a little bit sweet. And this easy, simple lemon sorbet always fulfills all of those cravings.

What you need:

5 dl (2 cups) water
4 dl (1 2/3 cup) sugar
a bunch of fresh mint

2 dl (little under 1 cup) lemon juice
1 1/2 dl (2/3 cups) freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 dl (little under 1/2 cup) water

Heat water and sugar and boil for a couple of minutes.
Add the mint and cool.
Add lemon juice and water.
Put in a container and freeze for 1.5 hrs.
Stir every 30 min for 3-4 hrs.

Enjoy!
